Our Emu Oil Capsules and Pure Oil are made in Australia and registered with the TGA, Pure Emu Oil (AUSTL 95322) and Emu Oil Capsules (AUSTL 259132), and carry their own unique AUSTL numbers. Our Oil and Capsules are manufactured at TGA certified facilities. Each product, be it Pure Oil or Capsules, is made from 100% pure and 100% natural, pharmaceutical grade, Emu Oil with no additives at all.
This Emu Oil is 100% pure and 100% natural with no added anything. The benefits of Pure Emu Oil are largely due to its potent anti inflammatory properties and superior penetration. This means that the emu oil can penetrate deeply into your body and in fact, go through the outer layer of watertight skin (stratum corneum barrier).
Pure Emu Oil is a natural source of Omega 3, 6, & 9 and essential fatty acids that are not produced by the human body. Our bodies simply cannot make them, but they are necessary for good health and well-being.
Emu Oil has been around for thousands of years, but it is only recently that modern day science has proven what the Aborigines have known for a long time, Emu Oil is an excellent natural anti-inflammatory and is also a natural source of Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 plus Vitamins A, D, E & F which are necessary to maintain good health. Emu Oil is so effective because of its unique, natural molecular structure and because it is essentially made up of several essential fatty acids which are widely recognised as being able to assist with arthritis, psoriasis and other common skin and joint pains.
Pure Australian emu oil is a natural product and can vary in colour from yellow to white. When warm, it’s a liquid (a similar consistency to olive oil), and it solidifies when cold. It’s important to know this so you can be sure you’re buying the right product for your needs. Many emu oil products on the market today have the words ‘emu oil’ in large print, with ‘cream’ or ‘crème’ appearing in very small type underneath. We think this is misleading – it means you might believe you’re buying a bottle of pure emu oil to treat arthritis or psoriasis, when you’re really getting a diluted emu oil product. If in doubt, read the label to make sure it says ‘100% emu oil’.
Pure, fresh emu oil has no scent, so beware of anything claiming to be ‘pure emu oil’ that has fragrances added, such as lavender. It’s likely that the emu oil is old and the fragrance has been added to cover up the rancid oil smell.
All emu oil claiming to be 100% pure emu oil should have an AUSTL Number on the label – this tells you that the pure emu oil product you’re buying is listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia. The number will be displayed on the label and should look something like this: AUSTL95322 (it usually has five or six numbers following the letters AUSTL). All pure emu oil products have to go through stringent testing and must be processed and bottled at licensed premises (pharmaceutical companies). Unfortunately there are still some products labelled as emu oil on the market that do not meet these criteria – they’re usually the cheaper versions of emu oil.
